Formed this company in 2012 . \u00a0 Brought together and took over an existing theater venue and \u00a0renamed it Baobab Stage.\u00a0I was\u00a0employed with Cirque Du Soleil for nine years, in \u201cZumanity\u201d at the New York, New York Hotel and Casino. \u00a0In addition I have produced many entertainment\u00a0showcases that include, dance performances and plays in different\u00a0night club and theater spaces in Las Vegas. My most successful has\u00a0been, \u201cRed Dress\u201d \u00a0 which was originally called, \u201cThe\u00a0Art of Prostitution \u2013 Shining light into the Darkness\u201d. \u00a0I began writing\u00a0this stage play in November 2008 and have staged several steadily improving versions culminating in the present edition. \u00a0 In Spring 2014 I left Cirque du Soleil to put all my energy into this theater..<\/p>\n

Many of my skills in art and fashion were learned in my early years from my family and others in Dakar, Senegal. \u00a0It was here that \u00a0I learned to design and make clothes. \u00a0 When I came to the USA\u00a0 I put this skill to work and created my own line of clothing called\u00a0 \u2018Wassawear\u2018 \u00a0 \u00a0I speak and write in English and French and also in Wolof, the language of my homeland in Senegal Africa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
