Dr. Prescott Bio

When discussing one of the prominent minds of business and marketing in this generation, the name Dr. Ureaka N. Prescott comes to mind. Having developed her tenacity for problem solving, and adding her own spin to the critical thinking of economic distributions, she has taken the media world by storm. Not only does Dr. Prescott have an aptitude for commercialism, she is renowned in her LPN ( Licensed Practical Nurses) skillset, as well as having a natural ingenuity for discovering and developing talents in the entertainment industry. Here is only a brief synopsis of her education and milestones in life.

One of the first milestones Dr. Prescott  accomplished was in that of her education. It was her graduation from Northwest Community College in 1992 with her Associate of Arts Degree in Medical Assistance, that led to the path she accomplished to today. She then went further in her education, by attending both Northwest Community College as well as Ole Miss University, graduating in 2010 with her Bachelors in Marketing. Continuing her academic career, Dr. Prescott went to attend Methodist School of Nursing, formally known as Mid-South School of Nursing, Rust College, Mid-South Christian College, and formally graduating Liberty University with her Ph.D in Theology in 2014. During her pursuit of getting a higher education, her strength in multitasking became evident.

In 1992, att the age of 20 years old, she worked in marketing with Robert Rayford on a gaming contract to bring the northern part of Mississippi their first casino in history. It was named Splash Casino, later to be named the infamous Lady Luck. During the time of 1992-2001 Dr. Prescott started marketed the first Dome Home in Yazoo, Ms through Dome International. In 2002-2005, working with Anthony Burns, Dr. Prescott marketed Oxy-3. She then went to market the popular reality show of  “Fox Cee in Tha City”, and was essential in the merging of FedEx and Kinko’s. From 2006-2018, Dr. Prescott began to branch out even more in her respective fields. First being the marketing collaboration with Dr. Ivory Taylor in: Taylor-Brown Home for Boys, Taylor-Brown Pharmacy, and to the current work of being a Market and Sales representative for M1TV  Network, located in Memphis, Tn. She also has a hand in Sales and Marketing with Ira Hatchett for WMEJ Rejoice Radio AM/FM serving the entire state of Mississippi and Louisiana Coast.

Today we can see Dr. Ureaka N. Prescott’s name being synonymous with Dr. Logan H. Westbrook. She is also an advisor along with him in the Cotton Silk Records record company day to day decisions; while manages and markets upcoming Gospel Singer/Neo Soul songwriter Camille Edwards for Westbrook Productions. Both Dr. Prescott and Dr. Westbrook work in sync of the Producing of Hollywood Localand  the Publishing and Marketing of Shapes of Music, LLC. DR. Prescott then went to work with Shape Music LLC, who joined forces with Nina Womack, the current Owner/President at Transmedia 360, to open a wide range of marketing from the West Coast to the East Coast. With  Grant Writing, Filming, Recording, Branding Artists, Radio, Commercials, even Television, there seems to endless possibilities when Dr. Prescott puts her focus on it, and I have little doubts that this will be all she has to show for in the near future.

Taylor Cole

“…Growing up in the entertainment industry has changed my views on many things about the world. Being able to experience people and their art growing up, has made me realize that we all have a story to tell, and it’s nice that someone can take notice and share it.”

Striving for the  best in any work environment set forth, Taylor Cole sets out to give a better understanding for her community. At the age of twenty-three, she has earned the title of becoming a published arthur, as well as a writer of the prominent Shapes of Music magazine, we anticipate what’s more to come from her. Writing and envisioning perspective on her subject, she hopes to broaden, and to connect, the audience to experience the same outlook on any story that’s ready to be heard.

Terri Prescott

The entertainment industry is a very fast pace environment. You have to be concise and on point. My job is to reflect those who are showing what it is they are passionate about and to let the world see..”

Looking from all perspectives is a common thought when it comes to the media presence of Terri Prescott. Not only is she giving innovative ideas for the well renowned Shapes of Music, she is taking the entertainment industry by the horns. Her familiar background sculpted her, in her twenty-two years, to not only show her passion but to transcribe those who are the most passionate.
